What’s New About The Totally Redesigned 2020 Subaru Outback?

The Subaru Outback has been changing the way Port Richey drivers go one weekend adventures of over 25 years and once again Subaru has outdone themselves with the all-new 2020 Outback. Other than the 2020 Outback’s athletic and bold new look, there is a long list of other changes and updates that make this the safest, most adventurous Subaru Outback yet.

When we say that the 2020 Subaru Outback is all-new we mean that it is totally redesigned from the ground up. Built on the Subaru Global Platform the 2020 Outback uses more high strength steel for a 70% stiffer structure that enhances safety and reduces road noise. There are also two new BOXER engines under the hood; one of which is a 260 horsepower turbo that can tow up to 3,500 lbs. The base BOXER engines is a more powerful and fuel efficient 2.5L four cylinder with 182 horsepower and 33 highway mpg.

Not only is the 2020 Subaru Outback most powerful and more fuel efficient, but it is also larger than the previous model with more room for adventure and features more advanced tech. The Outback now offers 109 cubic feet of passenger space with a maximum cargo space of 75.7 cubic feet. The 2020 Outback also features a stunning 11.6-inch touchscreen display STARLINK multimedia system that will bring you closer to nature with new Chimani app. Chimani gives you access to comprehensive guides, maps, highlights, and park history to over 400 National Parks. Other new advanced tech features for the 2020 Outback include EyeSight Assist Monitor with head-up display, Subaru DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System, and Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering.
