The Subaru Crosstrek VS The Honda HR-V
Powertrain: Right off the bat the Subaru Crosstrek is off to a commanding lead with more spirited, capable, and efficient performance than the Honda HR-V. The Honda HR-V is powered by a 1.8L four-cylinder engine that only generates 141 horsepower and is available with all-wheel-drive. The HR-V is also only available with a Continuously Variable Transmission. Under the hood of the Crosstrek is a 2.0L four-cylinder BOXER engine with 152 horsepower and is available with either a 5-speed manual or Lineartronic® Continuously Variable Transmission. The Crosstrek also gets up to 33 highway mpg with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. When the Honda HR-V is equipped with its less capable all-wheel-drive system it only delivers 31 highway mpg. Utility: No matter what adventure Spring Hill drivers have in mind the Subaru Crosstrek is ready. Every Crosstrek comes standard with roof rails to easily attach roof accessories and cargo boxes to bring the bikes or kayaks with you. The Crosstrek is also capable of towing up to 1,500 lbs. Roof rails aren't standard on every Honda HR-V and towing is not recommend for the HR-V. Interior Space: The Crosstrek and HR-V are similar in size and have roughly the same amount of interior space with 100 cubic feet of seating for five. However, the Crosstrek has more front headroom, 39.8", and legroom, 43.1", than the HR-V which only has 39.5 inches of front headroom and 41.2 inches of front legroom.
